The name Pool Environments has become synonymous with unparalleled quality in the Dallas swimming pool market. Dissatisfied with the construction process he saw being employed by builders at the time, Tom Rozell founded Pool Environments in 1990, to re-invent the construction experience for the homeowner.
This vision required a company that would team up with the most qualified, passionate craftsmen, and would engage a management system that embodies the “customer-first” approach that his clientele deserved. High priced advertising would be eschewed in favor of going the extra mile to obtain a customer referral. From the first meeting, through the design and vision process, all the way to the day the homeowner enjoys his swimming pool for the first time, the experience must be both pleasant and memorable for the client. This formula for success would also require PE to limit the number of projects that would be built each year, to help ensure the highest standard of quality and personal oversight. In 1991, Rozell added to his team, Chris Polito, then a 15-year veteran in the industry. The addition of Polito has been a tremendous aid to PE in its’ endeavor.
Knowing that this drive for excellence did not end with the construction, Rozell sought to develop a service department that shares the same customer first approach that a referral based company needs to flourish, and in 1998, Ted Anderson was brought on-board to over-see PE’s service department. Anderson’s corresponding customer-first attitude, coupled with his then 17-years of experience in the swimming pool service industry, made him a great fit with the PE organization. In addition, Anderson’s experience included not only service, but also the manufacturing, distribution, construction sectors of the business, which promoted the PE service department to become a resource for industry manufacturers.
